The Ministry of Tourism and Sports has launched a new
three-part video series aimed at reinforcing international traveller confidence
in Thailand. The short-form videos highlight the country’s travel safety and
assistance framework by portraying everyday situations in which visitors receive
timely help and reassurance.
Released for global digital platforms, the series
focuses on the work of the Tourist Assistance Center and Tourism and Sports
Volunteers. Through realistic scenarios, the videos show how travellers are
supported when facing unexpected challenges – from navigating unfamiliar
surroundings and recovering lost belongings to receiving immediate assistance
when it matters most. Voices and experiences of travellers from different
nationalities underline Thailand’s reputation for warmth, care and hospitality.
Real-life moments, practical reassurance
Rather than abstract messaging, the videos rely on
human, relatable moments. They demonstrate how the Tourist Assistance Center
serves as a dependable point of contact for visitors throughout the country,
offering guidance and coordination to ensure journeys can continue smoothly and
with peace of mind.
Three clips, one message
The first clip, Help when it matters most, highlights
on-the-spot assistance during unforeseen situations, reinforcing the idea that
support is always close at hand.
The second, Lost and found, focuses on care and
coordination when travel plans are disrupted, showing how misplaced items can
be recovered through organised support.
The third, Warm and caring, emphasises the role of
volunteers and officials in providing reassurance at every stage of a trip,
ensuring visitors feel secure and welcome until the end of their journey.
Part of a broader confidence-building strategy
The videos are being released sequentially across
digital channels as part of the Ministry’s ongoing efforts to enhance travel
confidence, safety awareness and positive perceptions of Thailand. Together,
they underline the country’s commitment to offering not only memorable
experiences, but also a reliable support system that allows travellers to
explore Thailand with confidence.
