The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) is encouraging
international travellers to experience the country during its rainy season
through the "Blooming and Bright Amazing Thailand" campaign. The
initiative promotes Thailand's green season as a rewarding travel period,
offering lush landscapes, vibrant waterfalls, fewer crowds and a more relaxed
pace across many destinations.
Rather than presenting the rainy season as an off-peak
period, TAT positions it as one of the most appealing times to discover
Thailand's natural beauty, cultural heritage and diverse tourism experiences.
A different side of Thailand
Throughout the year, Thailand offers distinct travel
experiences, from the cool season's clear skies to the coastal attractions of
summer. During the rainy season, the country transforms as forests become
greener, waterfalls reach their peak and popular destinations offer a quieter
atmosphere.
"Blooming and Bright Amazing Thailand invites
travellers to see Thailand at a different rhythm, when the kingdom is greener,
calmer, and full of seasonal character. This is a rewarding time to enjoy
Thailand's landscapes, hospitality, culture, wellness, gastronomy, and quieter
travel atmosphere, while extending tourism benefits to businesses and
communities across the country," said Ms. Thapanee Kiatphaibool, Governor
of the Tourism Authority of Thailand.
European promotion campaign
TAT's offices in London, Paris, Frankfurt, Prague,
Stockholm, Moscow and Rome are working closely with airlines, hotels and travel
companies to promote Thailand's seasonal attractions across Europe.
The campaign highlights the advantages of travelling
outside the traditional peak season, including greater availability, attractive
travel value, greener scenery and a more peaceful atmosphere throughout the
country.
Diverse experiences throughout the year
The initiative supports TAT's strategy of promoting
year-round tourism by showcasing the wide variety of experiences available
during the green season. These include beach holidays, cultural attractions,
gastronomy, wellness, diving, golf, outdoor adventures and sustainable tourism
experiences.
Strong air connectivity, direct flights from major
European cities, internationally recognised service standards and a broad
tourism offering continue to make Thailand one of Europe's favourite long-haul
destinations. Whether visitors are seeking a beach escape, a cultural journey,
a wellness retreat, culinary discoveries or nature-based adventures, the
country offers high-quality travel experiences throughout the year.
