Delta to launch first nonstop service from Austin to Paris

Daily seasonal flights will connect Austin with Paris from March 2027, adding new one-stop options to nearly 70 destinations across Europe, India and Africa

Delta Air Lines will launch the first-ever nonstop service between Austin and Paris-Charles de Gaulle on March 27, 2027. The daily route will operate during the summer season using an Airbus A330-900neo, giving Central Texas a new direct connection to one of Europe's largest aviation hubs.

According to Delta, the new route will also make it the only U.S. airline offering nonstop flights between Austin and Europe. Through its joint venture with Air France-KLM, passengers arriving in Paris will have access to onward connections to nearly 70 destinations across Europe, India and Africa.

Austin gains another direct link to Europe

The Paris route forms part of Delta's broader expansion in Austin, combining additional domestic services with international connectivity through its European partners.

"Austin's growth continues to create new opportunities for customers, and Delta is proud to grow alongside it," said Joe Esposito, Executive Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer at Delta. "Launching Austin's first nonstop service to Paris is a defining milestone, but it's just one part of our broader investment in the region."

The airline sees the route not only as a connection to Paris itself, but also as a gateway for travelers heading farther into Europe and beyond.

"From expanded domestic flying to strong international connectivity through our partnership with Air France-KLM, we're making it easier than ever for customers to connect from Central Texas to destinations around the world," Esposito said.

Up to ten weekly flights between Austin and Europe

Together with its partners, Delta will significantly expand the number of transatlantic options available from Austin during the peak summer season.

Delta, Air France and KLM will jointly offer up to ten nonstop flights per week between Austin and Europe, serving both Paris-Charles de Gaulle and Amsterdam. Passengers traveling through Paris can continue on Air France services to destinations across Europe as well as India and Africa.

The new connection also strengthens Paris-Charles de Gaulle's role as a transfer hub for travelers originating in Central Texas while providing the French capital with a direct link to one of the fastest-growing metropolitan areas in the United States.

Airbus A330-900neo with four cabin products

Delta will deploy its Airbus A330-900neo on the route. The aircraft offers four cabin categories: Delta One, Delta Premium Select, Delta Comfort and Delta Main.

Delta One features fully flat beds and privacy doors, while Premium Select provides wider seats and additional legroom. Delta Comfort and Main make up the remaining cabin products, with individual entertainment systems offering more than 1,000 hours of content.

The aircraft's cargo capacity is another factor behind its deployment, with Delta pointing to increasing demand for freight transportation alongside passenger traffic.

With the launch of the Paris service in March 2027, Austin will gain a second major European gateway within Delta's transatlantic partnership network. The combination of nonstop services to Paris and Amsterdam will give both leisure and business travelers additional options for reaching destinations across Europe and connecting onward to other international markets.
