Responding to the growing appetite for food-centred
holidays, TUI UK & Ireland has launched a new gastronomy-focused travel
collection called Dine & Discover. The curated selection includes 20
premium hotels in nine destinations renowned for their culinary excellence,
including Greece, Spain, and Mexico.
Recent TUI research found that 39% of Brits prioritise
dining out at local restaurants at home, while 41% are likely to book a holiday
built around food experiences. The new Dine & Discover label aims to cater
to this growing demand for immersive, flavour-driven travel.
Gourmet stays with added flavour
Each participating hotel has been handpicked for its exceptional
food and beverage offering, from award-winning restaurants to innovative local
menus. Guests booking a Dine & Discover holiday will enjoy a bespoke
culinary feature — such as a complimentary cookery class or cocktail mixology
session — included as part of their stay.
In addition, travellers will receive a 15% discount on
select local food and gastronomy experiences through TUI Musement, TUI’s global
experiences platform. These excursions range from wine tastings and street food
tours to visits with local chefs and producers.
Featured
properties include:
·
Ikos Porto Petro, Mallorca
·
Secrets Akumal, Mexico
·
Sani Club, Greece
...and many more.
The in-hotel culinary experience will be automatically
included for summer 2026 holidays departing after 1 May 2026.
A taste of culture
“Sampling local cuisine is one of the most immersive
ways to experience a destination’s culture,” said Chris Logan, Commercial
Director at TUI UK & Ireland. “With a growing trend in taste tourism, our
new Dine & Discover collection has all the right ingredients for customers
to enjoy a premium, food-focused holiday.”
