Holidaymakers will soon find it even easier to reach
one of Greece’s most beautiful islands, as TUI UK & Ireland announces three
new direct routes to Kos for Summer 2026. The flights from Bournemouth, Exeter,
and London Stansted will give travellers in southern England more choice and
convenience for their Mediterranean getaways.
Expanding access to the Dodecanese
The move marks the first-ever direct TUI connections between
Kos and the regional airports of Bournemouth and Exeter, opening up the island
to a new wave of British holidaymakers eager for sun, sea, and Greek
hospitality. Customers can choose seven- or fourteen-night packages, exploring
Kos’s mix of golden beaches, ancient ruins, and picturesque harbour towns.
For Londoners, there’s added good news: the Stansted–Kos
route—which last operated in 2019—returns with twice-weekly flights on Mondays
and Thursdays, offering flexible options for 3-, 4-, 7-, 10-, 11-, or 14-night
stays.
Sun, sea, and savings
With average summer temperatures around 27°C, Kos is
an ideal destination for those seeking reliable sunshine without breaking the
bank. The island remains budget-friendly, with an average beer costing about £3.50
and an ice cream around £2.60.
Experiences for every traveller
Through TUI Musement, guests can tailor their stays
with curated local experiences—from volcanic excursions to the island of
Nisyros and sunset cruises along the coastline, to guided tours of the mountain
village of Zia and the ancient Asclepieion sanctuary. Families can set sail on
the Pirates of Kos boat trip, while adventure-seekers enjoy glass-bottom boat
tours through the Gulf of Kefalos.
With its blend of history, scenery, and authentic
charm, Kos continues to be one of TUI’s most-loved Greek destinations—now just
a short flight away from even more UK airports.
