Marriott International has officially unveiled Series
by Marriott, the newest addition to the Marriott Bonvoy portfolio of more than
30 hotel brands. The global debut takes place in India with the launch of The
Fern Hotels & Resorts, Series by Marriott—a milestone that brings 26
properties across business hubs, cultural centres and leisure destinations into
the Marriott ecosystem. Together, they add more than 1,900 rooms in the brand’s
first phase of openings and signal an ambitious global expansion strategy.
Series by Marriott is conceived as a regionally
rooted, globally connected collection brand, bringing locally established hotel
groups under the reliability of the Marriott Bonvoy umbrella. Designed for
modern “global domestic” travellers, the brand emphasises essentials delivered
well: comfortable rooms, dependable service, and experiences that reflect the
distinct character of each destination.
A Collection Built on Regional Character and Global
Trust
The Fern Hotels & Resorts, Series by Marriott,
forms the brand’s first global portfolio—an eco-sensitive collection known for
sustainability, local heritage and warm hospitality. From major commercial
cities to nature-oriented getaways, each property is crafted to meet a broad
range of travel intents, whether business, connection or rest.
“We are delighted to introduce Series by Marriott in
India through our strategic agreement with The Fern Hotels & Resorts,” said
Kiran Andicot, Senior Vice President, South Asia, Marriott International.
“India’s vibrant domestic travel market and growing demand for dependable,
affordable stays make it the ideal launchpad for this brand. Series by Marriott
is about celebrating regional stories while delivering the consistency and care
our guests expect from Marriott. These 26 openings mark the beginning of a
broader rollout, with over 100 planned launches in the coming year.”
