Secrets Resorts & Spas, part of Hyatt’s Inclusive
Collection, has partnered with relationship platform The Skin Deep to introduce
a new guest experience designed to foster deeper connections between couples
during their holidays.
Launching from June 2026 at selected resorts, the
“{THE AND} Away, Together” programme combines physical conversation card decks,
digital prompts and curated resort experiences aimed at encouraging guests to
slow down, reconnect and spend more meaningful time together.
Conversations beyond everyday life
Developed in collaboration with The Skin Deep, known
for its Emmy Award-winning relationship project {THE AND}, the programme
transforms everyday holiday moments into opportunities for reflection and
emotional connection.
Guests can access exclusive conversation cards through
QR codes placed throughout participating resorts, including restaurants, cafés,
pool areas and beachfront locations. The content will be available in both
English and Spanish via mobile devices and the Hyatt Inclusive Collection app.
The experience is designed to complement moments such
as romantic dinners, beach walks, quiet time in suites or evenings spent
together after a day of exploring.
Growing demand for meaningful travel
According to Hyatt, travellers are increasingly
seeking experiences that help strengthen personal relationships. A recent
survey commissioned by the company found that 31 per cent of couples feel they
do not spend enough quality time together, while 84 per cent believe that time
away together strengthens their relationship long after returning home.
“At Inclusive Collection resorts, we know travellers
are increasingly seeking experiences that help them reconnect in more
meaningful ways,” said Ana Tomicevic, Vice President, Global Brand, Hyatt
Inclusive Collection.
Topaz Adizes, Founder and Executive Director of The
Skin Deep, added: “Travel has the unique ability to remove people from the
distractions of everyday life and create opportunities for deeper
conversation.”
Integrated throughout the resort experience
The programme includes custom-designed conversation
card decks, interactive prompts integrated into different areas of the resorts
and enhanced romantic dining experiences designed to encourage meaningful
exchanges between guests.
Additional features include specially curated dessert
moments, mobile-enabled activities and digital engagement tools accessible
throughout the stay.
Initial launch in Mexico
The pilot phase will begin at selected Secrets Resorts
& Spas in Mexico, including Secrets Moxché Playa del Carmen and Secrets
Akumal Riviera Maya, with further properties expected to join the programme at
a later stage.
The collaboration also includes social media
storytelling and content created with well-known couples from different
backgrounds and life stages, reflecting contemporary relationships and diverse
perspectives on connection and partnership.
With the new initiative, Secrets Resorts & Spas
aims to expand its adults-only luxury offering beyond traditional holiday
experiences and respond to the growing interest in emotional wellness and
relationship-focused travel.
