Ryanair, Europe’s number one airline, announced on 22
December that it has now transported more than one million Erasmus students
through its exclusive partnership with the Erasmus Student Network (ESN). The
milestone highlights the role of the collaboration in supporting student
mobility during international study exchanges, using Ryanair’s network of more
than 235 destinations.
Over the Christmas period, thousands of students
across Europe are travelling home to spend the holidays with family and
friends. Through the partnership, registered ESN members benefit from dedicated
travel advantages designed to fit student budgets. These include a 10 per cent
discount on up to four one-way flights or two return flights, as well as one
free 20 kg checked bag per booking.
The initiative enables Erasmus students to remain
connected with home while studying abroad and underlines Ryanair’s ongoing
commitment to affordable air travel for young people across Europe.
