Radisson Hotel Group is expanding its footprint in the
South Pacific with the signing of Mana Island Resort & Spa Fiji, which will
join the Radisson Individuals portfolio. The project marks another step in the
Group’s growth strategy in high-potential leisure destinations and strengthens
its presence in Fiji’s resort market.
Prime island location in the Mamanuca archipelago
The resort is located on Mana Island, one of Fiji’s
best-known destinations within the Mamanuca archipelago. Surrounded by
turquoise waters, white-sand beaches and coral reefs, the island is accessible
within around 90 minutes by boat from Port Denarau Marina or approximately 20
minutes by seaplane from Nadi International Airport, combining ease of access
with a secluded island setting.
“Fiji remains one of the South Pacific’s most
desirable resort destinations, and Mana Island is one of its most iconic island
locations. We are delighted to welcome Mana Island Resort & Spa Fiji into
our Radisson Individuals portfolio. This signing reflects our continued focus
on expanding our resort footprint in high-potential leisure destinations while
offering owners flexible brand solutions that preserve a property’s unique
identity and unlock the power of Radisson’s global reach,” says Danilo Curcuruto,
Director, Development, Australasia, Radisson Hotel Group.
Comprehensive refurbishment and repositioning
The 160-key resort will undergo a full refurbishment
and repositioning to create an upscale island experience that blends
contemporary design with authentic Fijian character and nature-led experiences.
The reopening under the Radisson Individuals brand is planned for late 2027
following completion of the works.
The future offering will include guest rooms, suites
and beachfront villas, complemented by several dining venues, bars, swimming
pools, spa and wellness facilities, a fitness centre, a kids’ club and event
spaces. The concept is aimed at leisure travellers, couples, families and
smaller groups seeking a relaxed yet upscale island stay.
Flexible brand concept with global reach
Radisson Individuals is the Group’s collection brand
for distinctive properties that retain their individual identity while
benefiting from Radisson’s global distribution, loyalty platform and
operational expertise.
“We are excited to partner with Radisson Hotel Group
and align Mana Island Resort & Spa Fiji with the Radisson Individuals
brand,” adds Hiro Osuka, owner of Mana Island Resort & Spa Fiji.
“Radisson’s global reach, strong distribution platform, and experience in
lifestyle and resort hospitality will support our vision to elevate Mana Island
into a leading upscale island resort that delivers a compelling experience for
guests from around the world.”
Further growth in Fiji and the Pacific
With this signing, Radisson Hotel Group now has three
resorts in Fiji, alongside Radisson Blu Resort, Fiji Denarau Island and the
Radisson Blu Mirage Resort, Fiji Naisoso Island, currently under development.
The announcement follows a recent resort signing in Samoa and underlines the
Group’s continued expansion across Australasia and the Pacific region.
