Radisson Hotel Group has opened the first Radisson RED
hotel in the Philippines, bringing its bold lifestyle concept to one of the
country’s fastest-growing urban destinations. Located within the mixed-use
Astra Centre in Mandaue City, Radisson RED Cebu Mandaue introduces a
contemporary hospitality experience that combines striking design,
technology-driven comfort and vibrant social spaces.
The opening marks an important milestone in the
group’s expansion strategy across Southeast Asia and strengthens its lifestyle
portfolio in high-growth markets.
“Bringing Radisson RED to the Philippines is an
exciting milestone for our business in South East Asia Pacific,” said Tim
Cordon, Chief Operating Officer, Middle East, Africa & South East Asia
Pacific, Radisson Hotel Group.
“Cebu is a fast-evolving, culturally rich destination
with a strong mix of business and leisure demand.”
Strategic location in the heart of Cebu’s growth
corridor
Situated in Mandaue City, the hotel offers convenient
access to Mactan-Cebu International Airport, Cebu IT Park, Cebu Business Park
and Oakridge Business Park. Shopping, dining and entertainment venues are
located within easy reach, making the property attractive to both business and
leisure travellers.
Guests can also explore some of Cebu’s best-known
attractions, including Magellan’s Cross, Fort San Pedro, the Cebu Taoist
Temple, the Temple of Leah and the panoramic viewpoints at Tops.
Contemporary design with a playful character
Radisson RED Cebu Mandaue features 144 guestrooms and
suites designed to reflect the brand’s youthful and unconventional identity.
Bright interiors, artistic elements and technology-focused amenities create an
environment aimed at modern travellers seeking both comfort and personality.
Accommodation options range from Superior and Deluxe
Rooms to Family Rooms, Junior Suites and Executive Suites.
Each room includes high-speed Wi-Fi, smart technology
features, mirror-casting televisions, Nespresso coffee machines and the brand’s
signature vintage rotary telephone, blending modern convenience with
retro-inspired design.
Dining and social experiences take centre stage
The hotel places a strong emphasis on social
interaction through a range of dining and leisure venues.
OUIBar serves as the property’s main social hub,
offering cocktails inspired by local flavours alongside casual dining options.
The 24-hour RED Deli Bar provides grab-and-go refreshments, while the RED Deck
pool bar combines outdoor relaxation with cocktails and international cuisine.
These venues are designed to create flexible spaces
where guests can work, socialise or unwind throughout the day.
Wellness and fitness facilities complement the
lifestyle concept
Guests have access to a spa offering treatments
inspired by local traditions and natural ingredients, as well as a fully
equipped fitness centre with modern cardio and strength-training equipment.
An outdoor swimming pool adjacent to the fitness area
serves as both a relaxation zone and a social gathering space, reflecting the
brand’s focus on combining wellness with lifestyle experiences.
New venue for meetings and events
The hotel also targets the meetings and events market
with flexible function spaces featuring modern technology and adaptable
layouts. The facilities are suitable for corporate meetings, product launches,
workshops and social events.
“With Radisson RED Cebu Mandaue, we’re introducing a
new kind of hospitality experience to the Philippines,” said General Manager
Prakash Ganesan.
“Bold design, vibrant social spaces and a playful
spirit define this hotel. From the beats to the bites, this is where guests can
plug into the pulse of Cebu and experience the city in a whole new way.”
With its first Radisson RED property in the
Philippines, Radisson Hotel Group is positioning itself to benefit from growing
demand for lifestyle-oriented accommodation among both domestic and
international travellers while adding a distinctive new option to Cebu’s
hospitality landscape.
