Norwegian Cruise Line unveils winter 2027/28 deployment and brings back Free at Sea Plus

Sailings run from September 2027 to April 2028, with itineraries ranging from two to 22 days and calling at 144 destinations worldwide.

The new deployment places a strong focus on the Caribbean, Bahamas, Bermuda and the Mexican Riviera, while also offering long-haul journeys in Asia, Australia and New Zealand. Highlights include longer port stays, overnight calls and late departures designed to allow deeper destination experiences.

For the first time, two Prima Class ships – Norwegian Prima and Norwegian Viva – will homeport in San Juan, Puerto Rico, operating week-long Southern Caribbean itineraries. Florida remains a key hub, with seven ships sailing from Miami, Port Canaveral and Jacksonville to the Bahamas, Caribbean and Panama Canal, many including stops at NCL’s private island, Great Stirrup Cay, which is set to receive major upgrades.

Beyond the Americas, Norwegian Encore will sail Mexican Riviera cruises from Los Angeles, Norwegian Jade will operate itineraries across Japan and Southeast Asia, and Norwegian Spirit will return for an extended season in Australia and New Zealand with longer voyages and overnight stays.

Free at Sea Plus™, available for sailings from February 1, 2026, adds premium inclusions such as unlimited Starbucks®, streaming Wi-Fi, premium beverages and additional dining benefits, building on NCL’s standard Free at Sea™ offering.

With its broad range of itineraries and enhanced onboard inclusions, NCL aims to combine flexibility, value and immersive travel experiences for the winter 2027/28 season.
