Delta Air Lines is teaming up with Crunchyroll, the
world’s largest dedicated anime streaming platform, to offer passengers a
first-of-its-kind entertainment experience in the skies. Through this new
partnership, SkyMiles Members can now log in to Delta Sync Wi-Fi and unlock 24
hours of free access to Crunchyroll’s full catalog – more than 50,000 episodes
and 2,000 unique titles – no payment required. In addition, curated anime
favorites are debuting on Delta’s seatback screens fleetwide.
Anime at 30,000 feet
Whether you’re an anime aficionado or simply
anime-curious, the partnership brings Japanese animation to a whole new
audience. Starting this month, selected titles curated by Crunchyroll will be
featured on Delta’s 165,000+ seatback screens, the largest in-flight
entertainment network among U.S. airlines, and within Delta Sync Wi-Fi, now
available on over 940 aircraft.
Passengers can enjoy episodes from hit series such as
the fantasy epic Black Clover, the heartfelt slice-of-life My Roommate is a Cat,
the romantic comedy Horimiya, the beloved Fruits Basket, and the award-winning Solo
Leveling, named Anime of the Year at the 2025 Crunchyroll Anime Awards.

After sampling anime on the seatback screens, SkyMiles
Members can log in to Delta Sync Wi-Fi on their personal devices and enjoy 24
hours of unlimited streaming across Crunchyroll’s extensive catalog. Access is
complimentary and available both during the flight and after landing (terms and
exclusions apply).

A partnership celebrating global culture
Once considered niche, anime has become a global
cultural phenomenon. According to Crunchyroll’s latest survey, nearly half of
Gen Z fans view anime as an important part of their identity, while over half
of Millennial and Gen X fans have stayed loyal to anime for more than a decade.
With 17 million paying subscribers, Crunchyroll remains the leading destination
for anime fans around the world.
