Bathed in light, the lovely rooms immediately grab their guests through their strikingly contemporary design in light beige, brown and grey tones and subtle patterns. Three restaurants and four bars cater culinary classics. The Japanese restaurant "Harumaki", serving sushi, teppanyaki and other iconic dishes, is one of the latest additions to the resort. The menu at the "Green Bar", which is directly linked into the golf course, features snacks like bocadillos and tacos for in-between meals.

The adults-only Steigenberger Makadi hotel is perched amidst an 18-hole golf course, awarded the title of "Egypt's best golf course" in 2019. It is a venue for golf tournaments on a regular basis. The grand finale of the "Samsonite Golf Club Tour" is to be held at the golf course at Madinat Makadi in 2024, for instance.
