A first in the airline’s history: Eurowings has
unveiled its XXL Advent calendar, bringing festive cheer to its fans and
customers. Standing nearly one meter tall, the 24-door calendar is filled with
high-quality products, exclusive merchandise, and attractive vouchers worth a
total of around €250. Only 1,000 units of this limited edition are available
exclusively through the Eurowings Fan Shop for €99 – the perfect gift for
travel enthusiasts in the busy pre-Christmas season.
Faster travel: automatic document check now live
Passengers flying on non-Schengen routes can now
complete passport verification directly online or via the Eurowings app. The
new Automated Document Check (ADC) allows travelers to enter their data during
web check-in and receive instant confirmation. If everything is valid, no
additional control is needed at the airport — making the process faster,
smoother, and more convenient.
Always in the know: gate change notifications in real
time
A new push notification feature in the Eurowings app
keeps passengers instantly informed about gate changes. Updates appear at the
exact same moment as the terminal displays. Those who have installed the app
and activated push alerts can now relax at the airport without constantly checking
information screens.
Smarter service: Eurowings introduces AI chatbot
Eurowings has also launched a new AI-powered chatbot,
helping customers find answers to common travel questions in seconds. From
baggage rules to sports equipment bookings, passengers can type their questions
freely and receive immediate, accurate responses — without waiting on the phone
or sending an email. The chatbot is accessible via the Eurowings logo at the
bottom right of the airline’s website.
Award-winning recognition: “Best Low-Cost Airline” in
Denmark
Capping off a strong month, Eurowings has received the
Danish Travel Award 2025 in the category Best Low-Cost Airline. Presented in 24
categories, the award is considered Denmark’s most prestigious honor in the
travel and aviation sector. The recognition underlines Eurowings’ successful
positioning as Europe’s value airline, combining attractive pricing with
reliable service and innovation.
