Eurowings is expanding its product portfolio with new
interline connections to Greece, additional benefits for frequent travellers
and a streamlined login process. The updates, introduced in March 2026, are
designed to enhance flexibility, improve customer experience and strengthen the
airline’s position in point-to-point traffic.
Interline partnership opens new routes to Greek
islands
Since early March, travellers can book flights via
eurowings.com to additional Greek island destinations operated by Aegean
Airlines. Newly available routes include Kefalonia, Leros, Mytilini, Naxos and
Syros.
In addition to Eurowings’ existing direct flights,
destinations such as Chania, Kalamata, Mykonos, Santorini and Samos can now
also be reached via connections through Athens or Thessaloniki.
Eurowings highlights that it is among the few
ticketless airlines worldwide able to combine its own sales channels not only
through codeshare but also via interline agreements with third-party carriers.
The programme is expected to be expanded with further partners.
Additional benefits for HON Circle Members and
Senators
Eurowings is also enhancing its services for Lufthansa
Group status customers. HON Circle Members and Senators receive additional
benefits on Eurowings flights from March onwards.
These include complimentary seat reservation with
extra legroom in the SMART fare, one additional checked baggage item of up to
23 kilograms in the SMART fare and free golf baggage starting from the BASIC
fare. Initially, these benefits can be added after booking via the service
centre.
With the expanded offering, Eurowings aims to further
strengthen its value proposition for premium customers within its
point-to-point network.
Simplified login with Lufthansa Group Travel ID
In addition, Eurowings now allows travellers to log in
using their Lufthansa Group Travel ID alongside their existing myEurowings
account. This enables automatic transfer of profile data and direct use of a
stored Miles & More account for mileage accrual.
Login is available via the website or during the
booking process. Eurowings notes that Travel ID and myEurowings accounts remain
separate and are not automatically linked.
