The
Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) proudly congratulates the winners of the 15th
Thailand Tourism Awards, where 151 outstanding operators will be honoured at a
royal presentation ceremony presided over by Her Royal Highness Princess
Ubolratana on 27 September 2025 at the Grand Hyatt Erawan Bangkok. The
prestigious event, part of the Amazing Thailand Grand Tourism and Sports Year
2025 celebrations, marks three decades of Thailand’s most respected tourism
accolades.
TAT
Governor Ms. Thapanee Kiatphaibool extended her warmest congratulations:
“The

international calibre of Thailand’s tourism sector. Through these awards, TAT
is committed to elevating the quality of Thai tourism products and services
while advancing the national strategy for sustainable growth. These
recognitions enhance the credibility and reputation of Thailand’s tourism
industry worldwide and reflect the spirit of partnership and collaboration that
positions Thailand as a meaningful and sustainable destination.”
A
Milestone Year for Responsible Tourism
First
introduced in 1996, the Thailand Tourism Awards are held biennially to promote
quality standards and showcase Thailand’s diverse experiences to global
audiences. Now celebrating its 30th anniversary, the 2025 edition unveiled the Thailand
Tourism Sustainability Awards for the first time, spotlighting leadership in
responsible tourism and aligning with the growing global focus on
sustainability.
This
year’s awards span five categories: tourist attractions, accommodation, health
and wellness tourism, tour programmes, and tourism support and promotion of
sustainable tourism. Entries were reviewed by a distinguished panel of experts
against four criteria: product and service excellence; sustainable and
responsible tourism management; business operations; and promotion of
sustainable tourism.
