The
Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) has announced the successful hosting of the
“TAT Travel Tech Startup Networking: Together for Future Travel” event, a
platform designed to connect travel tech startups with tourism operators,
investors, and policymakers. The initiative strengthens Thailand’s strategy to
position innovation as a key driver for sustainable growth and global
competitiveness in tourism.
“Tourism
is entering a new chapter where innovation defines success,” said Ms. Thapanee
Kiatphaibool, TAT Governor. “By bringing together startups, traditional
businesses, and public sector partners, Thailand is shaping a tourism ecosystem
that is resilient, forward-looking, and aligned with international
sustainability standards. This collaboration enhances visitor experiences while
reinforcing Thailand’s standing as a global leader in quality tourism.”

Innovation, with keynote contributions from experts in innovation, aviation,
investment promotion, and big data.

A
dedicated networking session enabled entrepreneurs and tourism businesses to
exchange insights, build partnerships, and explore new opportunities. More than
100 participants attended, including startups, government agencies, online
platforms, and international media.
Driving
Sustainable Tourism
Now
in its third edition, the TAT Travel Tech Startup initiative has provided a
launchpad for entrepreneurs applying digital solutions to traveller needs and
industry challenges. Previous winners have gained international exposure and
new business opportunities through TAT’s trade events and tourism campaigns.
This
latest event marks another step toward building an integrated innovation
ecosystem, driving Thai tourism into a more sustainable and competitive future.
