Hilton is preparing a broad wave of hotel openings and
renovations through the end of 2026, with several brand debuts in key
international markets. Among the most significant developments are the arrival
of Waldorf Astoria and Conrad in Malaysia, NoMad’s first Asia-Pacific property
in Singapore and Hilton’s first hotel in Valencia.
Luxury brands expand in Kuala Lumpur
Waldorf Astoria Kuala Lumpur is scheduled to open in
October in the city’s Golden Triangle. The 23-storey hotel will offer 268
suites starting at 80 square metres, several restaurants and bars and more than
3,745 square metres of meeting and event space.
Conrad Kuala Lumpur is expected to follow in
mid-December. The 481-room property will occupy 50 floors and feature five
dining concepts, meeting facilities, a spa, fitness centre and swimming pool.
Singapore will meanwhile welcome the Asia-Pacific
debut of NoMad. The 173-room NoMad Hilton Singapore is due to open on Orchard
Road by the end of the year, combining luxury accommodation with dining and
cultural programming.
First Hilton hotel for Valencia
In Europe, Cuber House Valencia, Curio Collection by
Hilton is scheduled to open in December. The 84-room property in the El
Cabanyal neighbourhood will include a restaurant, lounge club and rooftop bar
and pool. It will become Hilton’s first hotel in the Spanish coastal city.
Another major European project is Waldorf Astoria
London – Admiralty Arch. The transformation of the Grade I listed landmark
opposite Buckingham Palace will create a 100-room luxury hotel with restaurants
led by chefs Clare Smyth and Daniel Boulud and a ballroom for up to 500 guests.
New hotels from Hawaii to Saudi Arabia
Hilton is also expanding across North America, Asia
and the Middle East. Hale Hōkūala Kauaʻi is set to
become the first Curio Collection by Hilton property in Hawaii, while
DoubleTree by Hilton Jeddah Al Nahda will add 261 rooms in northern Jeddah.
Further openings include new DoubleTree hotels in Singapore and Kelowna,
Canada.
Alongside new developments, Hilton is investing in
existing properties. Conrad Indianapolis is undergoing a $25 million renovation
covering all 247 rooms and suites as well as public areas, while Hilton Mexico
City Reforma has completed a refurbishment of all 459 rooms and suites and its
convention facilities.
