ITB Berlin has unveiled its new campaign for the 2027
edition under the slogan "Travel & Tourism in Motion". Taking
place from 16 to 18 March 2027, the trade show will focus on the forces
reshaping global tourism, including changing travel behaviour, innovative
mobility concepts, and evolving technological, economic and social conditions.
The campaign reflects an industry that continues to adapt to new markets,
business models and traveller expectations.
Tourism in constant transformation
Developed in collaboration with the international PR
and communications agency Rupp, the campaign presents tourism as an industry
defined by continuous change. Both its visual identity and editorial concept
highlight the diversity and dynamism of today's international travel market.
At the centre of the campaign is ITB Berlin's role as
a global platform for dialogue, market insights and business development.
Industry leaders, destinations and tourism companies come together to exchange
ideas, discuss emerging trends and develop strategies for the future.
“Tourism is much more than just travel. It is a driver
of economic development, innovation and international networking. The industry
is always in motion, and it is precisely this dynamism that ITB Berlin brings
to the fore. It is where key players come together to forge new ideas, analyse
global trends and help shape the future of travel,” said Deborah Rothe,
Director of ITB Berlin.
New visual identity reflects industry diversity
A key element of the campaign is its new visual
concept, designed to illustrate the international character and constant
evolution of the travel industry. The campaign's key visual was created during
ITB Berlin 2026 using actual exhibitors and visitors, representing a broad
cross-section of the global tourism community.
The imagery reflects the diversity of people, ideas
and perspectives that define ITB Berlin as a meeting place for international
exchange. In addition, each exhibition segment will receive its own dedicated
key visual, complemented by the tagline "in Motion", reinforcing the
campaign's central message across all areas of the event.
