Denied Boarding

Denied boarding means refusing carriage to a passenger who has presented on time with a valid booking, unless there are reasonable grounds such as missing documents or security reasons. Where EU air passenger rights apply, this may give rise to care, reimbursement, rerouting and compensation rights.
