The RIU hotels that have been presented with these
awards by TUI, the world's largest tourism group, are located in ten different
countries: Cape Verde (3), Jamaica (2), Mexico (5), Morocco (1), Portugal (1),
Spain (15), Sri Lanka (1), Tanzania (1), United Arab Emirates (1) and United
States (2).
What’s more, six of the chain's hotels have been
included in the Top 100 Hotels 2024 list, which gathers the world’s
best hotels as voted by the German tour operator's guests. The following RIU
hotels were mentioned: Riu Palace Maspalomas, Riu Palace Meloneras, Riu Palace
