Tourexpi
Harbour City and Hong Kong Disneyland Resort (HKDL)
have joined forces to create one of Hong Kong’s most spectacular holiday
experiences. From 12 November 2025 to 4 January 2026, “Magical Christmas @
Harbour City” brings HKDL’s festive spirit to the Victoria Harbour waterfront
and into the city’s largest shopping mall, featuring Hong Kong’s biggest
Disney-themed Christmas installation outside the theme park. Designed for both
local residents and international visitors, the celebration invites guests to immerse
themselves in festive scenes inspired by Mickey and Friends, Duffy and Friends,
and the globally acclaimed “World of Frozen”.
A towering centrepiece on the waterfront
At the Ocean Terminal Forecourt, a nine-metre-tall
“Magical Christmas Tree” forms the heart of the celebration. Wrapped in classic
green branches and illuminated with golden Mickey-shaped ornaments, the tree
offers a striking photo backdrop against Victoria Harbour. Interactive holiday
greetings from characters such as Santa Mickey and Santa Goofy add an extra
touch of charm.
Parade energy and local flair
A major highlight is the ten-metre-long installation
inspired by Hong Kong Disneyland’s “Friendtastic!” parade. Mickey & Friends
appear in vibrant, parade-exclusive costumes, accompanied by musical
instruments and set against a colourful stage design. Elements featuring Hong
Kong’s bauhinia flower weave local culture into the festive Disney aesthetic.
Frozen magic and cosy holiday moments
The celebration continues with an installation themed
around the “World of Frozen”, drawing on the world’s first and largest
Frozen-themed land at HKDL. Scenes show Anna and Elsa preparing for a winter
celebration, while Olaf decorates with gifts from Arendelle. Nearby, the “Duffy
and Friends Christmas House” offers a warm, intimate setting with plush
characters in winter outfits—perfect for family photos and seasonal memories.
With its five themed photo hotspots and immersive
decorations, “Magical Christmas @ Harbour City” is set to become one of Hong
Kong’s most vibrant destinations for the 2025–2026 holiday season.
